The Top Ten Albums of the 21st Century: A Knock ’em Down, Drag ’em Out Verbal Slugfest (Chapter 5)

Area:
Presenter:
Scott Henderson (Trent University, Trent University Durham GTA)
Presentation type:
Paper
Abstract:

As part of this panel I will argue that one album in Craveonline’s “Top Ten Albums of the 21st Century … So Far” (http://www.craveonline.ca/music/8930...) is overrated and should be replaced by another album. I will spend twelve minutes on my rejection and selection, and three minutes attacking the decision(s) of one of my fellow panelists. To ensure a lively debate and to avoid duplication in album selection or panelist under attack, the three panelists (Nick Baxter-Moore, Thomas Kitts, Lawrence Pitilli, and I) will coordinate our selections prior to the conference. The panel will be chaired by Lawrence Pitilli. None of the individual papers will have a title.

Scheduled on:
Thursday, November 3, 11:00 am to 12:15 pm
