In this Presidential election year it is appropriate to consider how themes from classical mythology have used in editorial cartoons dealing with Presidential politics in the 21st-century. This presentation surveys ways that editorial cartoonists have used themes from Classical mythology like Sisyphus, Atlas, in order to comment upon U. S Presidents and politics in the 21st-century. This presentation will be completely impartial politically. No political candidate or party will be spared. The cartoons in this presentation are taken from a variety of sources, including 21st-century issues of The New Yorker, www.gocomics.com, www.comic.com, www.politicalcartoons.com and www.cagle.com/politicalcartoons/PCca.... Others have been collected from a variety of other recent newspapers and magazines.
