This presentation will focus on the changes MAPACA anticipates in terms of shifting publication to an online, open-access digital platform that will explore the possibilities of producing high quality scholarship in new media formats. We will also solicit opinion and discussion on a number of topics, including: How the new publication can best serve MAPACA membership How to develop and maintain protocols and standards for digital scholarship How scholarship intersects with new media, and the value of digital scholarship for academic professionals and independent scholars The value of open-access platforms
